There's been some comments, critique and concern about club colors. I came into this project with my eyes wide open. I've done a fuckload of research on the MC lifestyle -- both real world and academic. And yes, I know that research is just bullshit Hollywood writer fact-finding. I don't claim to be an expert or truly know what it's like to be an outlaw. The only club I'm associated with is the WGA. I am just a bullshit Hollywood writer playing in a world I do not live in. But for the record, I'm also a guy who likes to get dirty and if need be, bloody. I am aware of the sacred nature of patches and colors. I have enormous respect for the colors associated with established outlaw clubs -- red and white, black and white, green and white. The colors of Sons of Anarchy are ROYAL BLUE and WHITE. Blue letters on a white background. There was a black and white photo of the cut on this site. It was the best image we had of the patch, that's why I threw it up. Our colors are not black and white. Sometimes in moving shots that blue photographs dark, but when we are in the clubhouse you see the BLUE and WHITE everywhere. There will be no mistaking Sam Crow's colors.

From the perspective of someone who's
1.hung out in a Biker Meth Dealer crib in Riverside for summer recreation in the 80's
2. Had a rabid argument with the son of a Quentin con who later shot up a MC member and customer at an old SF bike dealer's then went off to join his dad at Q on a murder rap
3. and guarded his skin with a Machete from
a crazed Marin County Mountain Man who was
selfishly raging while his best friend od'd
it all looks pretty damn strong to me....
But then you can't please everyone
so sez the Outsider
