BLOGGER DIFFICULTIES (updated)
I think I've figured it out. I've switched to a simple template, one column. I'll only post a few blogs on the main page and archive the rest so folks can access the info in the footer without scrolling through months of blogs. Hopefully this will solve the browser issues. Thanks to Rags for the Browsershots link, that was incredibly helpful.

BACK IN THE ROOM
Got back into the writer's room for season two this week. Seven of us. I'm really excited about this crew of writers and the stories we are already brewing. Unlike last season, we actually get a little breathing room before we start shooting. Hopefully, a gun-to-my-head schedule wasn't the only thing that inspired good material in season one.
We begin shooting the last week of April, but no air date for season two has been set. It will most likely air in early September, but that's subject to change.
I'll keep folks posted, maybe upload some video of the writer's room.

TWO ZERO ZERO EIGHT
Thank you for all your support, comments and opinions this last year. Sutter Ink blog began as a self-indulgent social experiment and turned out to be an eye-opening experience. Before long I realized my blog was a portal into the heartbeat of social awareness. The most thoughtful, thorough and interesting writings in 2008 came out of the blogosphere. On the flipside, some of the most inane, hateful and ridiculous things spawned there as well. But that's what makes it so powerful. It is the only forum for true, unedited FREE SPEECH. Let's hope that never changes.
On a personal note, I may bitch, gripe and rage about people and institutions, but at the end of the day, I absolutely realize how lucky I am. I am an artist who makes a living through his art. Not many folks can claim that fact. I get paid a fuckload of money to do something I would do for free (for me, money equals respect, and I demand a lot of respect).
I wish you all a safe, sane and notorious 2009.
