IN THE WORDS OF NIKKI FINKE - TOLDJA

Three SutterInk Tweets from September 24th, 2009:

nbc prediction -- at some point in the next year, zucker will be forced to employ a savior. one of his/her first tasks will be to admit --

-- the debacle of the ben tenure. they will give leno back the 11:30 time slot and sign him for ten years. they will ax the fallon mess --

-- and offer conan his old time slot. he will most likely refuse and hop over to fox.

  1. My only question is when will you be blogging the next Powerball numbers?

  3. Wow, Kurt. Maybe we should call you "The Prophet". Leno was destined to fail. He's just not funny and never moves past vanilla. Not to mention that he's un-original. How many bits has he ripped off over the years? Love your posts, Kurt. I check in multiple times a day. Your honesty is refreshing. Thanks.

  4. Never much cared for Conan. Good. And he is not worth $40 mil. If he is that good I'm sure Fox will by his contract.

  6. Color me impressed, yet unsurprised that you figured all of this out long before the tools at NBC. Hope that development exec who confronted you outside of Starbucks is taking good notes, because I'm betting she and a lot of other suits in Hollywood are clandestinely reading your blog. Your comments are not only thoughtful but honest, a refreshing change from the usual hot air coming out of L.A. Now, if you could just tell me how Lost is going to end, you'd really make my weekend....

  9. I knew it, the Tonite show is an American icon, you dont play with it. If Conan goes back to his later time the only bad thing will be the hit Craig Ferguson will take. I like both shows and it was always crappy they were in competition. There's a lot of posts by viewers on TV blogs calling for Zucker's big head.hee.

  11. Random question, which also shows my nature to start planning things in advance, but do you know of any plans to sell samcro merchandise? I was thinking about going as Jax for Halloween next year, but only if I could find a realistic enough vest, with the patch

  12. So you realized right away that Leno's show blew, eh? How perceptive, Kurt.

Dude, I'm loving your blog, but you want to remember to blow yourself over something not quite so obvious next time out; like tweeting that the sun will come out tomorrow.
