SOA gonna Blow Away the Competition

This doesn't surprise me...the debut was unbelievably good.
ReplyDeleteJust to give you a small sample, there were seeds planted in my own extended group of friends about the show for months. I can name 5-7 people off the top of my head that watched the debut and all were extremely positive, even among those who traditionally don't watch the 1-hour dramas.
If this first show is any indication of the rest of the season, you have a hit on your hands...congrats on the early success!

And it's not all! There was a bunch of people who watched it online. And even more people are gonna watch it! Knew this show would be a hit. Well done! Have fun writing more episodes!
ReplyDeleteGreat show! I started watching it under protest, thinking that it was just another display of violence to get kids high on adrenaline, but soon realized that it was much more than that and very well written.
ReplyDeleteGood vs Evil, Shakespeare, good narrative storytelling, I am hooked. Keep up the good work.
Lots of seeds planted, and some great characters introduced.
ReplyDeleteOn a side note, I like the fact that the bikes are functional and not covered in tricked out "Bike TV" designer bullshit.
So what are the odds of SOA sticking around for a while? Are things looking good or is it in damger pf cancelation after its first season? Would be a damn shame because it's not only the best new show on the block but also a more than worthy spiritual successor to "The Shield".
